Baatin of Slum Village Dies
Numerous news outlets are reporting that Titus Glover, better known to the world as Baatin, founder of acclaimed rap collective, Slum Village, has died. He was 35.
Baatin’s death was confirmed by the Detroit Free Press. Details about the cause of the rapper's death remain unknown. News of his death came a day after Hip Hop Wired reported his return to the group for their upcoming album "Villa Manifesto," which is scheduled to drop on Sept. 22.
Baatin suffered from health problems prior to his death. It is unclear if his death is in any way related to his 2004 diagnosis of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression.
