In more sad Michael Jackson news, MTV.com reports that Joe Jackson envisions a bright future in the entertainment business for the deceased pop icon's offspring.
Earlier on today's "Good Morning America," Joe reportedly said, "I don't know — I keep watching Paris," he said, referring to Jackson's middle child, who spoke memorably at her father's memorial on Tuesday. "She ... wants to do something. And as far as I can see, well, they say Blanket (Michael's youngest child, Prince Michael II), he can really dance."
It's sickening to know that when he looks at Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket that all he sees is dollar signs. It's bad enough that these children are grieving the loss of their beloved father and are in the middle of a custody battle that is sure to rear its ugly head real soon.
While I believe that MJ's mother, Katherine, should have custody of the kids, I do fear that if Joe is a presence in the household, we'll see a repeat of the abuse thrust upon the Jackson 5 with the three children. We all know that Michael's harmful childhood experiences — Joe being the root of these incidents — is the reason why he was the way he was in his adult life.
Please keep Joe away from those babies!
