Drake Explains Why His First Video Took the Direction It Did
Drake told MTV News that Kanye West, who directed the highly anticipated video met with mixed reviews, offered to shoot another video for the song, and he declined.
"We kinda saw this comedic element to it, and I feel that this climate of the world right now is, everything's so serious all the time ... I just wanted people to laugh ... I didn't want to make an R&B video, basically," Drake said.
Well, Heartbreak Drake's female fans failed to see the humor in "The Best I Ever Had" video. Maybe we shouldn't have high expectations so we won't feel let down. I'm just sayin'.
