David Banner as Biz Markie?

Rapper David Banner will be taking on the role of living legend Biz Markie in January when filming begins on "The Vapors," a movie billed as bringing to life true stories of the Queensbridge, NY 80's hip-hop collective The Juice Crew. Continuing to round out the cast is Cuba Gooding Jr. as Marley Marl, Idris Elba as Fly Ty, Evan Ross as MC Shan, and Jackie Long as Big Daddy Kane, according to BlackFilms.com. Clifton Powell will appear as DJ Mr. Magic and actress/singer Keke Palmer will be playing Roxanne Shante, the Juice Crew's teenage female rap sensation who spawned a series of answer records with her hit "Roxanne's Revenge," itself and answer to UTFO's "Roxanne, Roxanne."

This sounds promising, but I still can't envision David Banner as the Biz. What do y'all think?
