There were some major moves at tonight's BET Hip-Hop Awards. Common and T.I. tied for the Best CD of the Year Award. This was an amazing feat for Common, who said it was the first award he's received at a televised award show. Unfortunately, T.I. still is locked up on charges for weapons possession and wasn't there to accept his award. But how major is that? We got two emcees from both sides of the hip-hop spectrum making things happen. Common later won the Lyricist of the Year Award. I'm glad he's getting his due credit. Big ups to Common and T.I., and if you haven't copped that "Finding Forever" or "T.I. vs. T.I.P." you know what to do.
