DRAKE HAS REGRETS

“The saddest part to me is that I would have made ’9 AM in Dallas’ the intro for the album, but I did it the day of mastering, which is crazy, so it couldn’t make the album. That’s probably my greatest upset, was the fact that it couldn’t be on the physical disc and be a part of that album. ‘Darlin’ ‘ was a loss just because it was never mixed, and every time I hear it in the club, you can never really hear the words. I think the words are the best part of that song. I think Wayne painted such a vivid picture. I tried to come in and add my little two cents at the end.

“Most of the music made it. Most of the music we held for a long time, and the stuff that did leak, it was pretty good references. It wasn’t anything I was too upset about. ‘Shut It Down’ leaking early was painful. I think it could have been a bigger record had it not been out there so long. And ‘Fall for Your Type’ I wish was on there, but I have other plans for that record, so it’s gonna be good.”

Ye, Drake, Weezy and Hov Take 4, 3, 2, 1 Spots in Hottest MCs in the Game Contest

MTV's Brain Trust ranked the emcees based on the criteria of lyrics, flow, impact, buzz, record sales and "intangibles" that make the artists unique. And the fabulous four are:

No. 4: KANYE WEST

No. 3: DRAKE

No. 2: LIL' WAYNE

No. 1: JAY-Z

I know that people in the tweets were mad that Eminem was missing from the list. But I think that the top four was kind of as predicted. What do you think? Who was left out?

Official Video for Drake's "Successful," feat. Trey Songz

This is the official music video for Drake and Trey Songz' "Successful," directed by Jake Davis. The song will be featured on Trey Songz new album, "Ready," out today. You probably heard this song first on Drake's "So Far Gone" mixtape, which is available now for free download; the EP version soon will be sold in stores.

I will say that it is indeed a step up from Drake's last music video for the song that shall remain un-named. And you can't be mad at the Obama quote at the end, but it's evident that our president clearly is talking about more than money, cars, clothes and hoes. I'm just sayin'.

Update: Drake to Go Under the Knife on Sept. 8

We all saw Drake take a nasty spill on stage in Philly while performing with Young Money Presents: America's Most Wanted Music Festival. Now he's going to undergo surgery for not one, not two, but THREE torn ligaments on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

I wonder if @DrakesKnee on Twitter will be obsolete when he heals.
