Drake Signs to Universal Motown

It's about time.

XXLmag.com reports that Drake has just been signed to Universal Motown records.

Drizzy's buzz has been growing since the 2007 release of his mixtape "Comeback Season," which featured tracks like "Replacement Girl" featuring Trey Songz, "Teach U A Lesson" and "Man of the Year" featuring Lil Wayne.

"Best I Ever Had" off his latest mixtape, "So Far Gone," is getting tons of radio play, too. And "Successful" is another track off that album showcasing his lyrical abilities. It was even rumored that Drake ghost writes for his partner in crime, Weezy F. Baby.

Looks like the kid from "Degrassi: The Next Generation" is about to blow.
