Joe Budden Not Too Happy with VIBE's Best Rapper Contest

As you probably are aware, VIBE magazine is about to start its Best Rapper Ever contest, which places emcees past and present head-to-head in brackets, and through a vote from the public, a winner is selected. Last year, Eminem won the magazine's Best Rapper Alive competition.

However, when Joey learned that he was the No. 32 seed in the matchup, he was a little heated. View his response to the VIBE tournament below.

"I'm better than most of these n****s on the list!"

"People may think I'm saying it out of hate. I'm not hating. I don't hate anybody up here. These guys are my peers. But, as a fan of hip-hop and as a guy who's passionate and loves what he does, a loves the culture and the craft, I see blasphemy like this."

Soon after catching flak from his remarks focused at Method Man in the video, the Jersey City rapper, via Twitter, wrote: "2 those of u responding about my meth comment, if u stand dude in front of me, he will get embarrassed, guarantee that shit... bet the house."
