While rumors have been afly about the fate of R&B ladies group Danity Kane since last season's dramatic blow-out, tonight's episode of "Making the Band 4" confirmed what was speculation: Aundrea Fimbres (center) was released from her contract with Bad Boy, making Dawn Richard the last member standing.
Apparently, two No. 1 albums, thousands of loyal fans and the determination of two members who fought tirelessly to salvage their dream were not enough to shake the "Making the Band" curse. So much for that "female international superstar group," Diddy.
So many questions: Will Diddy attempt to recreate Danity Kane through another horrid audition process? Is Dawn a big enough talent to succeed as a solo artist? Is Que next?
