The Return of Teairra Mari

I know she's fallen off the radar, but who remembers Teairra Mari, a.k.a. "The Princess of the Roc"?

Her first single "Make Her Feel Good" peaked at No. 9 on Billboard's Hot
R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, while her first album, "Roc-A-Fella Records Presents Teairra Mari," reached No. 2 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 5 on The Billboard 200. The set has sold 248,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Yet, after going back in to work on a second album, a then-17-year-old Mari learned she had been dropped. Womp, womp, womp.

Apparently, she's making a comeback with a new label, Interscope, and a new single, "No No No." Mari is in the midst of completing her yet-to-be-titled label debut, slated for a late 2008/early 2009 release.
