The Roots, Chrisette Michele and Jordin Sparks were all singing in the rain yesterday (April 20) as part of the Earth Day celebration on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Despite torrential weather, the performers took the stage to bring awareness about the effects of global warming on the environment. This year’s official Earth Day is today, April 22.
On a serious note, do something to help save our planet -- carpool, recycle, conserve electricity, plant a tree, etc. One small thing goes a long way!
