It's a New Year, but some things never change. Despite his disappointing sales effort with "Curtis," which went platinum, but lost the now-famous sales battle with Kanye West, 50 Cent is still talking. His latest rant is about comments made by Wu-Tang rapper GZA. GZA was onstage in London when he started talking about 50 and Soulja Boy. Apparently, everyone's favorite quotable rapper enjoys web surfing and was doing so when he saw the footage of GZA's rant on YouTube. Naturally, 50 had to return fire via Shade 45 and did so in his usual hilarious fashion.
"This guy gets on stage and obviously he's drunk, and he starts talking about Soulja Boy who is 16 years old," said 50. "Shout out to Soulja Boy. Soulja Boy's hot, he had a hot song, he produced the record. Genius should shut up, just shut up! Kid is 16-years-old. We Googled you; you were born in '66. Listen, I have an old school Chevy Impala your age."
But 50 wasn't done. He decided to give his take on all the Wu-Tang drama surrounding their "comeback" project "8 Diagrams." Before the project's release various Wu-Tang members including Raekwon and Ghostface were complaining about RZA's creative domination and talking about infighting causing problems with the Clan.
"It's really upsetting to me with what's going on with Wu-Tang right now. I hear they are upset with The RZA," 50 continued. "[RZA] started the Wu-Tang, he made the beats. OK, sure, yes he has all the money and his brother made 20 percent of everything. RZA and his brother made the money, that's alright, but they deserve it. They designed it, they built it. The rest of them n----s was on dust and not paying attention to what was going on at the time."
50 does have love for one member of the Clan - Method Man. 50 proclaimed "That's my favorite member of the Clan."
