The Wayans Bros' New Show

The Wayans Brothers (Keenan, Marlon and Shawn) are launching a new scripted comedy series called "The Life and Times of Marcus 'Felony' Brown" for VH1.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the network has order a pilot for the half-hour, single camera show.

The premise of "The Life and Times of Marcus 'Felony' Brown" centers on a up-and-coming hard-core East Coast rapper (Darius McCrary) who, after his debut album goes platinum, is forced to relocate to Los Angeles to record his follow-up. He is joined by his hype man (Vince Green), manager (Jon Abrahams) and hard-partying bodyguard (Marcello Thedford).

Principal photography is said to have just wrapped on the pilot.
