Latest word on the streets is Common and Q-tip will be forming a group, which they will be calling The Standard. In a recent issue of XXL Mag Q-tip says, “me and Common [are] getting ready to form a group...we’ll probably run it through the Uni [Universal Records] joint because we’re both on Universal.” The idea to form a group apparently came from Common whom suggested that they should do a record together. Recording on these joints has not started yet but should begin in the coming weeks. I don't know about ya'll but I'm going to be HIGHLY anticipating this record or album!!!
